Hello friday friends, today we are singing along to our favorite tv theme songs. And we have been singing along to them for the past week as we contructed our lists. Yes, these songs have never left our heads. But we love them, they remind us of the good ole days spent in front of the tv for hours at a time. Hope you join us!

1. Saved By The Bell
– I’ve seen every single episode, as I’m sure most of us have.
2. Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
– I loved Gidget.
3. Growing Pains
– Leo was so cute back then.
4. GI Joe
– I always wanted to be Scarlet!
5. Who’s The Boss
– For years I wished my name was Samantha so people would call me Sam.

Here are a few that don’t have words, but the music never left my heart:
– MacGyver (http://www.televisiontunes.com/MacGyver.html)
– Airwolf (http://www.televisiontunes.com/Airwolf.html)
– Knight Rider (http://www.televisiontunes.com/Knight_Rider.html)

There are so many to choose from. It took me a while to narrow my list
down. This one could have been a “Friday 15”.

1. The Jeffersons
I loved the show and I love singing the tune. We break out in full renditions of the song periodically in our household.
2. Three’s Company
For some reason this song has stuck with me for years. It was so tacky, but the words are so catchy!
3. The Facts of Life
Not sure when I ever watched it, but for some reason I know the entire song.
4. The Love Boat
Oh i LOVED this show! Im singing it now…
5. Mr. Rogers Neighborhood (along with Sesame Street and Electric Company)
In preschool we watched Mr Rogers while waiting for our parents to pick us up and i used to tell everyone he was my uncle.

Talk about a trip down memory lane. It’s strange how many sitcom songs come to mind, Laverne and Shirley, Happy Days, Growing Pains, and bits of Gimme a Break and One Day At A Time (“sooo wup on yer feet”..sing it with me!) Do they do songs with shows anymore? I couldnt think of anything modern!

Andrea
good times (my favorite! ain’t we lucky we got em)
welcome back, kotter (a close second)
the mary tyler moore show (we’re going to make it after all, people)
family ties (come on, sing with me: sha la la laaaaah)

and yes, of course:

the brady bunch (classic of all classics, you know you’re already singing it in your head now and will be for the rest of the day, don’t fight it)
